Windows Phone 8 Microphone

Hi All,

On Windows Phone 8, using the Microphone, is there a way to not record but to turn the microphone on and only record when there is noise. Kind of like not recording the dead space but only when someone starts speaking. I would guess start recording when it reaches a certain level or something?
