I have a system which is posReady but when I looked at systeminfo at "os name" is written "Microsoft windows XP professional". I cannot either find the postReady information in registry.

Now back to my question, How to find out if a system is XP professional or posReady?

Thanks for any help
Merh

The key to look for is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA\PosReady; and if it does not exist then most likely you are looking at plain old XP
