Crystal report is not showing one of the column during report print

i am trying to create a report but i have added one more field to the data set.
when i looked at preview it shows me that column but when i run the program and then see the print preview it does not show me that column

What I have tried:

i checked data type, it is ok. and even tried to check at the run time what column is retuned at run time and used the same column name. and even defined the same position on which i am selecting that value. but still the problem is same

Instead of a preview, try to display that data set in a datagrid, for instance, and see if that extra column shows up.
