How to Copy build items to output directory using tfs 2010 build template

Hi Team,
i am trying to copy the files which are part of the solution's and project's that are selected in the tfs Build Definition to an output directory.I was able to copy the build output files using "copy directory" activity but i am not get a logic to copy the project and solution files to an output directory.

Curious to know why do you want to copy the solution and project files to output directory other than the binaries?

For deployment, we will use only the output files then why you are trying to use the project and solution files? Is there any reason beyond that?
