Attachment field is missing for post list in blogs

hi all,

i am working with blog site in sharepoint. For blogs site we will get posts list.In development server i am able to see the attachment field for post list.but in production server i am unable to see the attachments field.

i had done a custom webpart which calls uploadattachment function.so that we can see the file upload control.this functionality is also not working in production server.

i am struggling on this issue from past 2 days.could any one solve this problem it will be very heplful.

for post list in blog site i am unable to see the attachment column.even i have checked all the hidden columns but i didnt find that column.

there is no default attach file option in post lists for blog site ,so i have written custom webpart and placed in newpost.aspx and in that webpart i have taken a toolbutton which calls predefined javascript function uploadattachment() so that we get file upload control to attach files to that list item.
