How to show an INFORMATIONAL message in MOBILE WEB application in C#

I'd like to display an informational message within a MOBILE WEB application, using C# (VS2008) that does NOT require a user response. I'd like to be able to also close this message, programatically.

Any suggestions?

(Please let me reiterate, I'm using VS2008/C# and I'd like NO interaction with the user, i.e., clicking BUTTONS, etc., and solutions in VB, ASP.NET, JAVA will NOT help!)
