How to get a notification in MDI forms after changing something from child forms?

My application is an MDI application.

I've entered some data from one of my child forms. It got saved to the database. I need to process the data before i want it printed.

I forgot to process the data, so i wouldn't get the result in the printed format.
I need a notification in my MDI form.

How to accomplish such a thing?

Any help would be appreciated.
