Tab Control in Silverlight

Hi,
I highlighted some rows of grid based on some conditions.This grid contains two tab controls.Now i want to high light that tab control items based on the same condition.I'm using MVVM pattern.I cannot access that tab control values into my viewmodel.What i do?Plz help me.
