Embed Third party exe in MFC

Hi Friends I'm new to VC++.I have the .exe file. It is used to play video files.I want to embed this exe into MFC dialog. I have read a article regarding embedding paint with MFC.But the same source code if i replace my exe instead of paint,It opens my exe in separate window and also I don't have control over it like when I close the window it closes only dialog and exe remains opened and If I click the exe it shows in the full screen mode.
what I want is to embed exe and disable events and re-size the same exe.
There is no API's provided by the manufacture of that exe.Kindly help me to solve my problem.

I don't know how you can do this:" i replace my exe instead of paint".
In my experence you can try it by ActiveX. (insert an Video play ActiveX to your program)Then you can control it with your own code.
