Report Viewer export dropdown closes on main page postback

Report Viewer component page and find texbox is graying out for a second and selection in export closes on main page postback. There is one element refreshing every 5 seconds on MasterPage causing postback and it has to be that way.
My Report Viewer runs in remote processing mode and AsyncRendering set to true.
So why is this still happening?
No code is hit inside my page, postback only happens on underlying MasterPage that holds left side menu.
