How to fit image in div tag

Hi
I am using a masterpage in my application.
I have set an image as background image in master page using div tag.
Problem is the image size is larger in some screens.
so complete image is not visible.
how can i increase height of the div so that i can see complete image

set your height and width of your image and div to same and fixed;
like width="somevalue"
height="somevalue"
