How to use IE print templates cross browser

Hi all,

Hope someone can help me,

I want to know how do i create print templates to work on other browsers.

Ive created a print template that works fine in internet explorer, using ActiveX but as activex is not used in other browsers , how do i go about it.

Would be cool if it was posible to manipulate other browsers' print preview templates

IE Print templates will work only if the browser is embedded within a Desktop Forms Application or the page has ActiveX control embedded to invoke printing.
Without ActiveX (browsers other than IE) it wouldn't work.

is there a way to create a pdf print template and use that in other browsers?
