Also; You should expand on what you are trying to do, as there maybe better approaches. Generally Browsers cannot read/write directly to the local file system from a web app for security reasons.

NPAPI are we going to use as a tool for us to make an plugin but i dnt know how firebreath works/rule on it..

now i'm getting curious... i looked it up... I think the Bookmarks API of Chrome only allows to load and/or create bookmarks to/from their default local storage of bookmarks which is written in a JSON tree node data structure.... I'm curious if there's any other way to address this????

can you help me to implement an extension for Google Chrome. The coverage is that to store the bookmarks and retrieve those data for a specific user of Google Chrome..the saving and retrieving is done in local storage...please..
