I know this is solved already but I want to recommend this site anyway.

This is where i learned C# except i did it on windows application tiers instead of ASP.NET.
(My first programming language even).

http://msdn.microsoft.com/sv-se/beginner/bb308786(en-us).aspx

Now I am hired as a C# developer and I´ve even written an OPCServer in C# that use WCF instead of DCOM so I´m not doing too bad without official education.
