Find date in ms word

Hi, I wrote finding date format in ms word using VBA. I used this "([0-3][0-9])[./\-]([A-Za-z]{1,9})[./\-]([0-9]{4})" code for finding date and split using spiting function. Now i want to validate the finding text is true date format(i.e to validate each phase). Plz help me....................
