Get the speed of the car

I know using GSM and GPS we can find the speed of our vehicle. Can anyone help in doing the same or any link where I can get the code for the same?

Is there any other way to get the speed?

Solution 1

You need to check out the package android.location. You'll find all kinds of resources on this site: http://developer.android.com/reference/android/location/LocationManager.html[^]. It's the site for android developers so that's where you should be heading.
