Directx + vedio driver capability for color control

On which bases "DDCAPS2_COLORCONTROLOVERLAY" will get enabled(YES) in the Directx caps viewer. Which vedio driver feature I have to take care in this matter. In my PC for Windows-XP OS this feature will get enabled but for Windows 7 OS this feature is getting disabled. So Please suggest how to enable this one in Windows 7 OS or do i need to install any specific video driver for this in Windows 7 OS.
