hello
i have been recording some video on my PC using a web cam, that gives an avi file,
electricity was cut accidentally during recording,
the .avi file exists but I can't view it.

file description:
1- the .avi file is about 4GB size.
2- the vedio players I tried show only a picture when they play it.
3- the video files resulted from using "fix videos software" act like 2.
4- extracting photoes using "extract frames software" gives only 5 frames.
5- viewing it as binary file shows (10f695f0)x lines of data each containing 32 hexa values, that gives 9,107,062,272 hexa values.
6- frame rate and dimension are known.

any one got a clue about how i can restore my video? (programmable solution, some code/sw, what ever)
thanks.

in a 32bit OS, the max size of a file is 4GB。
you can split your recording to many files, and make sure each of it less than 4GB
