Is there anyway to permently disable the touchpad on a Acer Aspire laptop with Windows 7?
I can use fn F7, but that resets everytime you boot up. I checked - there is no setting in control panel/mouse settings, nor is there any touchpad device listed in the device manager, nor is there any BIOS setting.

If you're right — too bad; you don't have decent manufacturer software for the touch pad. This is an important feature which is typically provided.

This question is really off-topic for this forum which is a forum for software developers. Try to get support from the manufacturer. Maybe most recent software update will help.
