hide site from a user sharepoint 2010

i have 2 sites in my master page.
sites are: HR and IT
i have 3 users in AD - admin, abc, xyz.
admin is the owner.
I want "abc" could see only IT site.
and "xyz"n could see only HR site.

plz guide, i m new on the platform, using site actions and sharepoint designer.

Sites and masterpages are two destination things, you are trying to compare grapes and coconuts. They aren't even in the category.

Security can be configured for each of the sites. If the user is not allowed to access the site, it will not show up as a link.

From the sounds of it, confusing sites and masterpages and site actions and SharePoint Designer, you need education on what SharePoint is and how to work with it before proceeding.
