Hi;

I have seen a MS cool utility that we can install in Visual studio 2008. It create a vertical line in VS text editor to help identify script block (if.. end if). I forgot its name. Could someone tell me what it is and how to download it. Thanks

Have a look at http://www.pluralsight-training.net/community/blogs/craig/archive/2005/06/26/12515.aspx. You don't need a utility - just a small registry modification is enough.

For older versions of VS, see here[^].

Very nice thing, my 5.
By the way, do you know something that could add auto-commenting (custom with source code). I do have my own customized snippets, but they are less convenient, because more often it's better to add auto-comments to existing code.
Thank you.

Thank you.
I have not come across anything that does auto-commenting automatically but it would definitely be an interesting tool to build.

I understand it quote possible, but the effect should justify the effort. I did such thing for Borland long ago, published on Borland cite.

That must have been fun. :)

Well, that would be sufficient justification. The only reason I'm not doing this is that I have enough fun with other things right now.
Thank you very much for this comment. I like it.
