How to create an antivirus in vb6

Hello,

I just want to know how to create an Antivirus in vb6. The Antivirus which uses the MD5 strings as it's database, and also a Real-Time Antivirus.

I Need Help!

Example:
e7e5fa40569514ec442bbdf755d89c2f is the EICAR Test virus

If in the database matched in this MD5 code e7e5fa40569514ec442bbdf755d89c2f
it will report that it was a virus! simple as that, I'm new to programming in VB6 so

I need you help! Thanks in advance! :)

Firstly you will have great difficulty in obtaining code samples (for anything) in VB6, it is at least 10 years out of date.

You can get VB.NET Express, which is free, from here[^], it is a much better choice if you are able to use the language of your choice.

Secondly, It is going to be difficult for you to obtain up to date virus signatures in any usable quantities.
