Hello everyone! I'm looking for a good offline source code repository. Preferably Open Source or free. I heard that Tortoise SVN is a decent choice for that. I would like to hear your opinions on this one. Thanks!

Apologies if this has been asked before.

Thank You! AnkhSVN looks great and one more doubt: Does it work with the VS Express editions?

Sorry, don't know, don't use any of the express editions.

Ah okay. Thanks for those links! Will look at them. ^_^
SVN and Tortoise is the choice I would approve.
However, see also this discussion: Revision control systems, which to choose from?[^].

Great.
Thank you for accepting this answer.
I have considerable experience in Subversion, will help if you need an advice (there are few delicate moments). And you feel really safe under the protection of such revision control.
I put under revision control even my smallest works.
