Changing output in event log tracking

Is it possible to change the 'client user' in in the event log, when the log has been cleared to show maybe the persons first and last name rather than a profile name in vb. we have a system set up that multiple people use one profile on the computer but use another program to log in the username. its a an application me and my buddys are developing for a small buisness.

Solution 1

There is no direct .NET API you can use, but if you want to fiddle around you can P/Invoke WIN32 to do it for you. See this blog for details: Logging Events with User details[^]
