How to find the external table in redshift database

Hi everybody,
I am a fresher and have just started my career.I am having a trouble in finding the external table in the redshift database. I can see the tables in the database but how to know which table is external table. What exactly is an external table and how to find it. PLEASE TELL ME THE STEPS. I will be really obliged to this community to help me out as I have heard a lot about this platform.

What I have tried:

I KNOW HOW TO SEE THE TABLE DEFINITION AND TO TAKE THE SCHEMA OF DB. BUT I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO IDENTIFY AN EXTERNAL TABLE IN THE DATABASE.
