How to set up mysql for remote connection

Can anyone suggest me about following requirements.

1) I have a W7 with IIS7.
2) My W7 box having a Mysql Community Server 5.0
3) Now I have to access these system through web in my web apps.

I don't want to go for webserver hosting and that all due to some security reason.

Could you please provide more informaiton, how your environment is constituted ?, I mean, can you get access on W7 using its IP address...

As so far i understand you should have connection string in your web apps and that you can do with IP address/DSN connections

Could you please provide more information on that ?

Yeah CP, Actually i have a three computer on LAN, i can access each of computer with its IP address, Cause i had a Internal Lan Portal (Website run only in LAN) .
But tell me how can i set this for LAN, I am asking about overall I.E My Mysql,Website,System.
