How to open a new file on clicking file->new option on a form

how to code to open a new file on selecting File-> new menu item on a form.on clicking it should close the opened file and reopen the file with default settings.
in a form i ADDED File,Tools,Help to menu strip.
in File option i have three sub options i.e New,Save,Exit.
i have coded for save and Exit,
now the problem is i have to code for New option.
if i click on New option it should close the opened file and reload the file.

What I have tried:

This is not a good question - we cannot work out from that little what you are trying to do.
Remember that we can't see your screen, access your HDD, or read your mind.
information.Which part of this is giving you problems?
We have no idea how your app is organised, what your "default settings" are, or how your files should be stored, so we need to know a lot more info before we can start helping you!
Use the "Improve question" widget to edit your question and provide better

Maybe you updated your question after the comment of OG ... but the Information is still incomplete.
What exactly is giving you a problem to do it ?
