How can i use grib2 files with python?

Hey everyone, I've searched the internet far and wide and I haven't found an applicable way to use Grib2 files in Python. Can anyone point me in the right direction to be able to work with Grib2 files using Python?

What I have tried:

I've bee attempting to download the GDAL library and the GRIB API using CygWin on my windows computer, but with no success.

Plenty of useful stuff on the first page of a Google search for "grib2 python"
