Is it possible to test a websocket connection in VS2015 IIS Express?

I have a small test app developed using a websocket connection. Can I test it in VS2015 IIS Express or do I need to use the full IIS with websockets enabled?

I have found a Microsoft statement that says it is supported in IIS Express 8, but I can't find any discussion of how to test it.
