I am writing an article and uploaded a file in. I just want to download and make some changes.

There seems to be no way to download from a draft article. Is this a know issue?

You need to post in the Article Writing Forum[^] to get the appropriate help

First of all, as CHill60 said[^], you should consider posting the questions in a relevant forum.

Secondly, there are still a lot of methods that you can follow. First and a very simple one is to click on the link that the uploaded file refers to (See the right side of the article editor; if that is a source package,) then right click and open in new tab. It will be downloaded. The link targets the actual file that you uploaded.

You can also, go in preview mode and click on download links (if you provided any in the article source). You can download from there too.

Also, why did you delete the file too soon? You must keep the packages and other files until you make your post live. It helps you to keep the packages offline for editing. Once your article goes live you can then feel free to delete them!

Start the discussion in the Article Writing Forum, and remember to include Why you cannot download. Is there any error? Because I cannot think there is any error with that.
