I know the whole web service concept i only need to know how to set up and run a Mobile Web Appication on my PocketPc to consume a Web Service on a Server??? - because on the PocketPc does not exist an Web-Server and only call the MobileWebForm.aspx of the MobileWebApplication in the PocketExplorer does not work...??

I am not sure about extra controls but i can assure that our all avilable controls are seriously updated with new customiztion.
eg. Insted of datagrid here we have DataGridView.

Ado is connected in nature.That's why we can apply locking machanisam there in Ado.
This is not the case with Ado.net, which means that ado.net uses what is referred as optimistic locking. i think you know about two kind of locking say Optimistic and Pessimistic locking.
You can't directly achive pessimistic locking here in ado.net like ado. You can achive this through applying transactions in your application. You can do one thing please look at how you can use the IsolationLevel enum with transactions to achive some kind of locking at the data source.

I'm trying to write an application to measure how long I spend using certain applications during the day. Idealy I'd like to get a message/event sent to my program when another selected program gets user focus as well as when it loses it.
I've figure out how to get a list of all running process and get their running information but is it possible to register a callback function to get notified of when another process recives or loses user focus so I can start stop a simple timer?

Hi, I'm using a ListView to display integers and I'd like to sort them, but it processes them as strings... so it gives something that looks like

5
...
is there a way to sort them as numbers? I've thought of adding leading zeros to each number but that's not really pretty...

ListView have a method called Sort() which will only sort based on alephabetic manner (like string compare). So here what you can do is you can Impliment IComparer interface in your ListView class. In IComparer contain an abstract method called Compare(object a,object b).
And remaing is is upto your logic to compare and getit done. Try your self and if it is not possible by your self then let me know.

Hi!
By default, the ListView is sorting its items lexicographically, so numbers will not be sorted correctly.
To achive the correct sorting you'll have to write a class implementing IComparer and assign it to the ListView's ListViewItemSorter property.
You'll get two ListViewItem's to compare, so you can decide according to which subitem you want to sort, if sorting is to be performed ascending or descending and what to do with numbers or dates.
For example, the core of such a comparer could be something like this:

ListViewItem i1 = x as ListViewItem;
ListViewItem i2 = y as ListViewItem;
try
{
return (int.Parse(i1.SubItems[0].Text) - int.Parse(i2.SubItems[0].Text));

}By modifying the SubItem index you can easily sort by different columns or if you use DateTime.Parse instead of int.Parse you can sort your ListView by dates.

I currently use a axWebBrowser control in my C# application to display html. When non-english characters are in the html strings the control displays garbage. Is there a way to configure the control or format the html string so that the characters are displayed correctly?

When the size of file is less than 15MB ,the program runs ok.But when the size of file is larger than 15MB,the program will come out the exception of outofMemoryException.

It would be more efficient to eliminate msIn and the loops, and to use a BinaryWriter to write the encrypted data. Something like
BinaryWriter w = new BinaryWriter(encryCs);
w.Write(sourceObject);
return msOut.ToArray();
(flushes and closes removed for clarity).

Im making a simple media player using managed directx, AudioVideoPlayback. The problem im having is that the video is not playing in the form, it plays in the top left corner of the screen.
