I think that everybody has learned from the mistakes of the past. My aim is to make this site THE best pace to hang out, exchange ideas, and learn cool new stuff. After wanting my own site for a long time there is no way I would ever hand it over to someone who did not care about the site and the community in the same way I do.
Maybe after a few more years of no weekends and nights I may want to move on to other things - but I will do my utmost to ensure that the site retains it basic raison d’etre - that of being dedicated to helping developers, not advertisers executives.

Ah, to be so young and foolish.
No .PF domain. No yachts. Not even a second hand Ferrari, slightly scratched.
Just something that helps millions of developers each month that we're all very, very proud of.
