I really don't visit the forums enough to care, but enough ppl seemed so concerned that I thought I would post this as a possible means of *reducing* (not eliminating) the issue. Having been born and raised in Europe with family in the US, I'm always sensitive to currency conversion issues. In fact, when I worked for Holiday On Ice, I helped to design and implement a specific forumula to "smooth" out the flucuations in currency so that our skaters (who were from all around the world) could depend on a consistent income without worrying about these flucuations. I meant "I *can* understand that.". Luckily I've never lived anywhere where the rate and cost-of-living (COL) was that differnent from any other country with which I had financial ties. PR doesn't count because they use USD, but when I lived in Amsterdam the rate was 2.5, which turned my paltry (by US standards) 20k USD salary into 50k G. When you click "new post" and get this entire page dedicated to stating "Don't post programming questions in the Lounge", you can't state that you didn't see it. Besides, warnings are like locks on your front door. They're there to keep the honest people out. The real criminals are doing to do whatever it takes to get what they want - rules be damned. As I said, this won't work for everyone, but it would be a two line code change and dramatically cut down on the number of posts that so many people deem undesirable in the Lounge. But it might end up being one more small lock on the door. Currently, Lounge is the only forum where user needs to be signed in to make posts. This check atleast eliminates annonymous posts. Never comment ur code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand !!! And I'd like to give you my opinion, maybe can be useful, who knows! The reason why I posted my message in the Lounge is that I found in the main page of the web site the frame containing some Lounge messages and I said to myself: "Ahh, that's what I'm looking for, let's go"... From my point of view, you'll have much less message if you, for example, put at the place of the Lounge frame a Message board frame. The probability that a new comer wants to ask a programming question is much more higher then someone who wants to put a new topic in the Lounge.
