I did, it was coming along well, up until I formatted my drive, and lost my work, and the software I used to create it, and I never got round to making it again.

Someone should write a good, easy-to-understand, step-by-step tutorial on how to set up a program that uses two different views in an SDI application. There's little information out there about this, and the few articles you have simply say where to put such-and-such code, and even then don't tell you much in the way of shaping it to your needs. Someone should write a tutorial that basically tells you what to click on in the AppWizard, then how to add the views, then a simple introduction to programming in this sort of an architecture. (Essentially, it should be in the same style many programming books have in that it tells you exactly what to click and what to type, but also how you can change that so that it is specific to your application.)

My two greatest computing loves are CodeProjet, and wxWindows[^]. I wonder how many other CPians use alternative frameworks (e.g., something other than MFC) for Visual C++ code? Would a forum or article category for this stuff be appropriate? Yes, there is a newsgroup for wxWindows, but I've found that CP forums seem to be a much better outlet for questions, answers, topics, etc. than newsgroups. And of course, it's hard to post an article to a newsgroup.
Just a thought.

Interestingly, the biggest disadvantage to wxWindows I've found so far is the lack of resources on it (e.g., CodeProject and similar sites.) It's a great platform, although it can when I run into problems, if I can't get an answer off of the newsgroup, I'm pretty much on my own, it seems.

It's a great platform, although it can when I run into problems, if I can't get an answer off of the newsgroup, I'm pretty much on my own, it seems.
Sounds just like WTL! If I get a problem in WTL that no-one can help with, then I delve into the source!
