Chatting isn't coding. GPT does a lot, but I never heard about a project completed by it. Would you fly on a Jumbo driven by CHATgpt?
It's A, but not I. Means it is artificial but not intelligent, it just reproduces what it been fed. It's fed the internet and can give the illusion of intelligence by repeating. It isn't.
According to ChatGPT I'm a youtuber. Go look up my youtube achievements if you really need arguments.

It is the product that you sell that makes your wage. Not a "salesmen", a good product doesn't need salesmen.

I have been using AI to give me a quick framework for doing something. Primarily PowerShell lately. It does the main part fairly well and very quickly. To get it working perfectly though. Well you need a real coder who can look at a line and go well that won't work. I need to update that this way.
Also, I find since my primary language is something other than powershell. Having the AI give me the gist of the code kicks my brain into powershell mode so I can then finish the code fairly quickly. It gets me into that groove alot quicker than if I was to just start writing code on my own. With AI's help I wrote an entire directory search and conversion of data tables that were in Word into SQL and had them loaded in about 30 minutes. I would bet if starting from scratch it would have taken me hours(I am not that good at powershell).
Works for just about any code I have to write other than one of my primaries.

Maybe it's smarter than we thought?
Someone asks it a homework question. It shows a "please wait" message, signs up for a new CodeProject account, posts the question in QA, and demands an "urgentz!!!1!" answer.
With the next iteration, it will sign up for two accounts - one to post the question, and one to post an obviously wrong answer. Since everyone knows that's the quickest way to get someone else to post the correct answer.

You are very close to the truth. Everyone will need to fill out a questionaire first ... anytime they interact with anything going forward.
(I didn't quit see why AI needs "so much energy", but if you need to evaluate 8,000,000,000 opinions every time you say something, that takes some work).
