Does the site really require that? For as long as I have been a member, browsing has been unlimited, though filled with garbage ads. Two posts down from the original, I posted a detailed listing of components. As a member, though, I don't have a way to see what outsiders see. What are you seeing, Richard?

For me, it goes to a login page that is obscured by a GDPR popup that doesn't have a "reject all" option: closes tab.

I find it somewhat refreshing.
People would just drown this place with memes.
Although yes, there have been times when I've really wanted the feature, but what I do is "park" it somewhere online so I can get a link to it, and then I post the link here with a caption. If people want to look at it they can, but nobody has to see it. It works. *shrug*

I know... And I agree. I have on occasion uploaded pics to the website I maintain for email purposes, but I haven't even accessed the FTP site in years. I'm not sure I remember how.

I tried that several times, even cut the size by 50%, with no luck. The site won't accept the pic - it keeps timing out in about 20 seconds.

There it should be possible, the only problem I have had was due to size. IIRC limit is relative low (mabye 250k, 300k or something like that). I remember having to open my picture, zoom out a bit, and do a *.png screenshot, that got accepted.
If you still have problems, I would then ask the hamsters

for the best grilled cheese ever.
It's a spinach and artichoke dip grilled cheese on sourdough, and I am lactose intolerant.
I. Don't. Care. I will take Lactaid and suck it the hell up.
They are delicious. I am making them tomorrow. No matter my lack of appropriate enzymes.
In case anyone would like to make them:
1 bunch of fresh spinach, chopped and stemmed
1 can of quartered artichoke hearts in water (not oil), each cut in half, squeezed of water and drained.
about 3tbsps of minced garlic, to taste
sour cream (1 cup? I don't keep track - it varies a lot)
salt to taste
white shredded cheese to taste (enough to make however many sandwiches you plan to eat per sitting (I user monterrey, mozerrella, parmesan, and/or an "italian blend" - anything white and melty works - shredded parmesan doesn't melt very well but it mixes with other cheese fine in this.
olive oil (1-2tbsps plus enough to spread on the bread)
sliced sourdough
in a large pan heat some olive oil on medium. add the garlic and saute it for a minute, then add the artichoke hearts, and brown them all over medium to medium high heat (i use medium but i cook w/ a pretty powerful gas range and it runs a little hot)
stirring, reduce heat, add the spinach, just long enough to wilt it.
Remove from heat.
Start spooning in sour cream until you get a chunky but spreadable consistency. Set aside.
Brush or otherwise spread olive oil on to the outside facing bread of each side of a potential sandwich (this is where decent spatial reasoning comes in handy when dealing with irregularly shaped sourdough). I use the back of a spoon to do it because I'm lazy and don't want to dig for the brush. Just be careful not to use too much.
Open faced, spread a liberal amount of cheese on one face, and a single layer of cheese on the other. On the conservative face, spread some of that dip stuff you made, and wait until the cheese on the liberal face is melted. Then put it together, cut it in half, and serve.
Repeat until you are taken hostage and forced to make more for people. They are *really* good, so it's a hazard.

Fat, salt, and sugar. With out these, you just have cardboard.
Your recipe is high in fat and salt, not sure about sugar directly.

I thought that with lactose intolerance, you can still eat aged cheese or even some types of yogurts. And that's why the rennet from animal's stomach is used in fermentation - to do the job for you.

Well, in my experience there's enough lactose in that to cause me problems without supplemental enzymes.

I've learned to live with it. It's actually not my biggest issue when it comes to eating.
That would be the food coma I get, regardless of how much I ate, or what.
I could switch to a keto diet to fix that, but to me that seems like the "cure" is worse than the "disease".

This was a major symptom of mine prior to learning I was pre-diabetic. Had bad food coma for 3-4 years prior to being diagnosed with diabetes. Apparently this is common with many diabetics.
You just don't become diabetic overnight.
Now I wear an insulin pump to stay alive.
Might want to discuss this with your doctor if you haven't already. May be a non-issue for you, then again, it may not. Just saying...

There are two main causes, and one is related to hypoglycemia and diabetes.
The other is just your stomach taking all of your blood and energy while digesting.
I've had recent blood tests, and seen my doctor about this. It's unlikely that I am pre-diabetic, even though by all rights I deserve to be, based on my diet.

My endocrinologist has told me before that "bad" food coma is not normal, for anyone, especially if you get it when you don't eat much.
You may not be pre-diabetic now, but you could be 4 months from now. Diabetes is gradual, not overnight. Just something to think about. Don't disregard my warning.

That sounds like a incredibly delicious, and a hugely indulgent meal. Love it, will need to make that ASAP...
