Your partner may not get it. We've had covid twice in the house now. Last year my wife and 2 daughters got it and my daughter got it again this year. I've been lucky to avoid it altogether, although I've been sick (not covid) from other things more time this year than I have in the last 5 years.

Thanks. One of my sons has had COVID twice, most recently a couple of weeks ago when his younger daughter brought it home from school. We're all fully vaxxed, so hopefully it doesn't hit us too hard. I'll be fully loaded with antivirals for 5 days.

Thanks. Antiviral meds seem to be working.
I am a senior volunteer with the Rural Fire Service of my state*, working primarily in communications.
We use a structured and inter-agency standardized Incident Management System, and members are trained in how that works.#
For the next step up, to specialist incident management positions, they must participate in a 3 day simulated fire exercise, running the operation with assessors watching them. There is a "campaign" fire as the centrepiece, with other incidents thrown in to keep the adrenaline flowing.
The exercise requires the support of a comms crew in the operations room, as well as another hidden room of people with radios and phones acting the part of crews on fire trucks, police and other agencies, etc.
I was leading the comms crew for days 2 and 3.
* The largest volunteer emergency service on the planet, 70k+ of us.
# The standards are international; we currently have incident management personnel deployed to the Canadian fires.

Got an ebay order delivered today and when I opened the box it had yellow/aged newspaper around the chips.
Carefully unraveled the newspaper and it was dated Nov. 24, 1963 and the headline was about Pres. Kennedy assassination. Who would keep newspaper that long and if so, and in this case a memorable date who would use it as wrapping?

If I were you, I would gather all the papers and see if you can assemble a complete edition. Something like this happened to me a LONG time ago. I worked in a Chinese restaurant and they got a shipment of fortune cookies from a place in San Francisco. I noticed the stuffing paper was from a Black Panther newspaper. I gathered all the papers and I was able to assemble a complete issue of it. This was in the late 1970s and it had morphed into a charitable organization so there was nothing militant in it at all but it was interesting to read.

Actually, I have that newspaper right behind me in a box I found at my Mom's place before she died. L.A. Times, I believe. I have no idea what to do with it. I'd thought to donate it to a school to help with teaching history, but since they no longer teach history, what's the point.
