I always get a sneaky suspicion these types of downloads (Microsoft has never dropped copyright claims for any version of VS) - might include "a little extra" that wasn't on the original discs...

Listen, you guys ...
Noone will buy this because they need access to VS97! This is a offered as a Collector's Item. That kind of stuff tends to be a lot more valuable in the original packaging, especially of the plastic foil is not broken.
I can easily imagine collectors willing to pay a significant amount of money for this item. Maybe CP is not the right forum. I wouldn't expect it to be - we are developers, makers and users of software. Not collectors.
So hang onto this item until you com across true collectors, even if the CP response you have received is rather discouraging.

I have little Houdinis Hendinis.
I think animals are compromising the fence around the chicken run because they keep finding ways to escape.
They like eating grass, so they're always trying to get out of their run. Grass won't grow wherever chickens are because they scratch at it and eat it until it's gone from the roots, so their run doesn't have any.
The other day, the neighbors dog was loose and cornered my escaped chickens. I have anxiety and am prone to panic attacks, and I had to talk myself down from one quickly and chase after the dog. I twisted my ankle in the process. It still hurts.
Himself went to LA to a conference for 4 days, and every day the chickens were getting out. I had my head on a swivel, was getting paranoid and really anxious. I was miserable the whole time.
It got to the point where I insisted we get rid of the chickens. That's a fight I wasn't winning, so I at least am making him set up Wyze cams in the run.
Because I already have WSL running and Wyze only works on Android or iOS I got Windows Subsystem for Android running, and apps sideloaded from google store. I now can run linux, android, and windows apps like native applications. It's brilliant.

They probably wish *I* didn't have it. It allows me to run the Wyze wireless camera app from my PC. It's only available for android and iOS so I use WSA to make it go.

I'm wondering if you can't connect it to Codeproject image AI and check if the chickens are about to run off. Then maybe you could find something that the chickens would be drawn to, like a sound or image color, and lure them back from the fence? Maybe you could share the chicken footage and we could all have a go at it

Be careful what you program. For some reason this reminded me of a comment in the Turbo C++ (yes I'm that old) documentation for the Sound function.

So you don't need a fence...
But In all seriousness 7 Hz is very low frequency, and a normal small camera could never emit this frequency in airborne transmission anyway. Think of a subwoofer, which mind you also doesn't emit much at 7 Hz. The key is the size of the vibrating object when you go toward a lower frequency, as the effective transmission in the low-frequency range is dependent on volume displacement of air.

So an above ground or below ground problem.
Above ground should be easiest as you can do a visual inspection. Perhaps fencing was not done carefully on a corner.
Below ground involves digging. Perhaps a trench and just move the barrier below the ground. There are other options like stakes or area along fence with larger well packed rocks.

The issue is there seem to be animals - I suspect raccoons, much as I love them breaching the perimeter. So every day it's a potential surprise, a new escape spot. It's quite awhile to do a full perimeter check, and even when I have, I've missed some hard to see spots.
The solution we're going with is cameras. They don't wander far quickly. All I need to do is as soon as I find they are missing (things get quiet out my window) roll back the cameras and see how they got out.
Edit: They are remarkably stupid animals, with very short memories, and gluttony overrides any good sense they might otherwise have. Ergo, it is easy to lure them back with dried grubs.

I all seriousness, CodeProject AI Server connected to one of several home automation applications might solve your problem. @sean-ewington has written several such articles.
I have one that trained a model that detected Racoons, Skunks, Dogs, Cats, Squirrels, ...
With the right configuration, you could turn on a bright light, sound a siren, or make a Scarecrow move. The possibilities are limited by your imagination as I believe your fabrication and programming skills are up to the task.

Racoons will kill chickens. Which would be obvious. But perhaps they are going for the feed instead. Although seems like that would be obvious as well.

Right but the chickens are locked up in the coop at night when the raccoons are about. I think they're just breaking into the run itself.
