It's not Microsoft. It's a third party that has likely purchased your information from the dark web. I guarantee everybody's email, name, address, phone, mother's maiden name, pet's first name, etc., is available for sale on the dark web.

Just noting that the Microsoft does have a Sales partner program. They have had it for probably 20 years at least. Basic idea is that the partner has some sort of service/product that depends on Microsoft and so the partner can do a sell through and the partner does (or at least did) get a discount on products/services which they can then sell to the partner's customer.

And I am rather certain they promote it.
So quite likely that someone could be trying to make a quota by getting people to sign up for it.

Everything looks legit (I know I can't trust that), if it's not legit I am amazed they have all the details of the company + phone + my name... that's impressive. If it's legit... I am amazed because of how they act.
The most surprising part is that MS will have sold gazillions of licenses... how come they can call me 1237894623 times a day to help me sell better their products... Now that I've written it... maybe I am the guy with less MS licenses in the planet...

Email's easy to block, fortunately. But phone number?
Next time they call, tell them you have a new phone number.
Then give them the number for some other internal department within MS. Or your worst enemy's.
If they call back at your previous number after that, stop answering. Presumably they call from the same number?

Oh, that's easy, in the phone just set that number as spam and block it.
Of course magic stops if they change their phone number, but after a few attempts they are vanished.

Right...I'm assuming the worst; the spammers tend to change phone numbers all the time so it's impossible to block 'em all.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a phone capable of putting itself into F*** Off Mode(tm), where only numbers matching your contacts are allowed to ring...

You can do that in Android, you can set the "Don't disturb" mode and then add an exception that only phone calls on your contact list can enter.

The problem is that there's always this one person who's not in your contacts list, and should be allowed to call you...
Maybe blocking all area codes (or states or entire countries) with exceptions would work best...not a 100% failproof solution, but it would cut down on the junk calls I'm getting on my phoneline...

My 250 watt 2080TI struggled to play Fallout 4 at the settings I wanted.
It would so, but at 100% utilization and at 75 degrees celsius.
My current 320 watt 4080 plays the game easily at settings I hadn't dared hope for before. All the way up. Also at a cool 50 degrees celsius.
That is an amazing difference. The 2080TI was two generations old by the time I replaced it, but it ranked in with the generation 3xxx cards in performance. That the 4080 could blow it out of the water without even maxing out the GPU or getting above 50 degrees? AND churning out better frame rates and graphic detail?
I don't know what they did in the Ada Lovelace architecture to make it perform like this, but more please.
It's much better than the previous generation. Much better.

I have a friend who works for a company that develops games.
They are always testing various models of video cards to benchmark their products.
GPU technology is driven by games and other computational oriented industries.
The GPU is learning the game as it is played and gets smarter at running them.
His opinion. Sounds reasonable. I am not expert enough to doubt.

The big jump in technology happened between the 20 and 30 series, 40 is mind boggling. They also raised the base price a lot to chase the mining community... and got badly burned because most cr*ptocoins moved from proof of work (aka mining) to full Ponzi, pardon, proof of stake.

What would happens if you put the 4080 fan and coolers on the 2080ti cards in regards of the temperature ?

You will increase power consumption without any gain in performance. And if your main concern is the temperature, you can replace the 2080's fans with water cooling.

Your card will run cooler, probably you could overclock it a bit more but not much.
Cooling is only partially affected by coolers and fans, the disposition of the heat generating components is also important, plus their materials and heat tolerance.
