Both "solutions" have got the correct number, so the typical error of "I didn't realiced that it was so old" because the question got to the top of the list can be excluded.
The behaviour is what many site drivers do, they search for a concrete topic and then post a link to his blog where there is a solution for that. But he has posted no links at all.
I would say one for the list of "keep an eye on", but so far nothing for a nuke in my opinion.

I may be missing something, but I don't see any spam.
It's a very poor excuse for an article, and it smells of plagiarism (though I can't find an original) but spam is adverts, site driving, and so on - I don't see any of that other than relevant URLs to Apple pages.
