I never understood why people take their work laptops with them when they go on vacation/holiday. Why bother if you're going to be logged in and working, especially when either any problems will sort themselves out or they will still be there when you get back.

You've earned your rest - take it. I choose my destinations based on the LACK of Internet access. No computer, cell phone, email, nothing.
