Meshuggah - The Abysmal Eye[^]
Meshuggah announced a new album recently and the first single was released last week
I must confess, I totally missed their previous album The Violent Sleep of Reason, so their last work, for me, was Koloss from 2012.
For those who don't know Meshuggah, they sound like pretty accessible death metal (as far as death metal can be accessible), but when you listen closely, you'll hear almost unmatched technical ingenuity.
They use off-beat time signatures and different time signatures for different instruments that come back together after x bars, but you probably won't hear it if you just listen to it, which is quite a feat.
The musicians are masters of their instruments and as an ex-drummer I know drummer Tomas Haake is highly regarded in the drummer community.
Personally, I like to describe them as the Tool of death metal.

I generally don't like death metal (or whatever metal this is), but I make an exception for Meshuggah.
I saw a description of their "song" Bleed:
Bleed on vocals: difficult
On guitar: very difficult
On bass: extremely difficult
On drums: there's a reason the song is called bleed

My musical tastes are different.
To me what makes music wonderful is magical melodies and harmony (vocal or instrumental). Then I'm compelled to listen. Your sound of the week single has none of that for me -- and I'm not finding any enjoyment from it.
I've recently been listening to Count Basie and George Winston while working.
