When all I am is a code monkey, I don't need critical thinking (in fact, it would be better if I just did my job). When I'm really good at my job, persistence is of less importance. And, of course, when I work alone, I don't need to be able to work in a team. I've done all at some point in my career. The years of experience always come in handy though!
