Anyone here used CLion from JetBrains? I used it a little and liked what I saw. I’ll have to give it another try just to see what’s changed.

The IDE everyone wished would DIE but that ended up writing an awful lot of awful systems.
I STILL occasionally get work where I have to use it.

I used the IDE's from Borland for years. Loved using them. I eventually ended up with Visual Studio and pretty much stayed there since with the exception of some work in NetBeans for Java development.

Me too. I grew up with Delphi, from v1.0 to v7.0. I missed it on this list.

I used the Turbo IDE for Modula II back in the summer of 1990. It was pretty good, even by todays standards unless you simply hate text.
I also used and sometimes still use View. Most people familiar with it just call it Vi. It is still the most full featured text editor I have ever seen for coding.

Going even further back, the limited IDE in Turbo Pascal 3.0 was revolutionary for me.

Unfortunately, as part of my current job, I am required to maintain and develop MS Access applications.
(And also VB6, but that is a whole other issue)
Even though the apps I maintain are originally legacy applications, I have been working hard to make them relevant and able to last for the conceivable future.
Which of course includes moving the Database aspect (apart from temporary tables) to an actual Database Server, MS SQL Server in my case.
MS Access may not be thought of as an IDE in and of itself, but I believe it checks all the boxes for that definition (including Unit testing, if said unit is the form/report/query being tested).
And even though I do prefer working with VS, once you get used to the "clunkiness" of the Office VBA code editor, MS Access is easy to use as a development tool.

I wondered if there is a possibility to listen to two or more MP3's at the same time and thus mixing them to the audio output, and also handle their volume apart. I saw an application such as Virtual DJ, and I would like to write a C# Winforms application but with very basic possibilities, mixing 2-3 mp3 files, handle their volume separately, and if possible listen to the headphones separately (pre-listening) while another audio file is playing. I looked for code here and there, but the only thing I found was mixing mp3 files and save them to a new file without listening....
