It's not my health that's the issue. My wife has a couple serious health concerns. Without adequate health insurance she will not receive appropriate care. Neither Medicare nor the supplemental plans for it provide the same level of coverage I have as an employee. Private coverage at that level isn't feasible for someone on a fixed retirement income.
Therefore, I have no immediate plans to retire.
