We had bright sunshine yesterday. Today I woke up to a light dusting of snow, which has gradually built up to what would be described as (in the south east of the UK) a blizzard.

Yes, we had a bright warm - ish - day yesterday. Wind was a little lazy, but it was a nice day.
Until it started to snow, that is. Of course, by then the washing on the line was nearly dry ...

It is not unheard of to have snow in April/May here in Upstate New York. Snow happens.

Yes, but where I live it is almost unheard of these days. And even in the depths of winter we get very little, compared to when I was growing up in the 1950s and 60s.

Oh gawd yeah - I remember snow deeper than I was tall back in 62-63.
That one was exceptional, but winters are wetter than they were, and so are summers. I remember summer holidays when it was hot and sunny all day, every day.

Oh yes, I know about Colorado weather. I used to work for StorageTek (now Oracle) based in Louisville, and visited many times in all four seasons. Whatever the weather, Colorado remains one of my favourite places in the world (and second only to Washington state in the USA).

Always with my mind in the gutter, but it seems to me more likely the dog wanted to h*mp her leg in exchange for the mike - (one of the things I dislike about dogs - fortunately, not as a victim, but witnessing said afront). The interview? Probably just "bedroom" talk.

I've noticed a few websites here and there that are not working (various excuses are given), but methinks that something happened in the internet hosting business world that caught website managers by surprise - something akin to the way that Photobucket blew up the internet a few years ago by starting to charge everyone a ransom for its use.
