Not a huge use case in my mind because I'd want to ensure that when someone deletes a download they check the article for references, and conversely if they add a file they should add a reference.
Although: it would be fairly straight forward to allow an upload, and have that upload added to the download section of an article automatically.

0) In the reputation history page, when the author posts to one of his article forums, instead of as a "Post a General Forum Message", shouldn't the "Event" be shown as "Posted an Article Forum Message"?
1) Increase forum message points to 2 for article forum messages, to promote authors to maintain a closer watch on their articles?
2) As part of then article info, where it shows the article author info, show the last time the author logged into CP, and even better, the last time he looked at the article. This will help users determine how "dead" the article might be, especially for articles that have never been updated.
It seems to me that putting more emphasis on parts of the site that are the actual reason for the site being here could only be a "good thing" (TM).
Couple these ideas with the article forum notifier dot would help authors maintain a closer watch on their code, and it would help the user reading the article to determine relevance.

The mouse hover reacts to the "a Stick" not the the "(hover to reveal)" (bigger area)

It should say "tap to reveal"; and only works to the extent that it does because the tap selects a word under the overlay....

Today the upload succeeded, taking about 1 second - so something was not entirely right yesterday, either on my side or CP, or anywhere in between…

It is possible to delete a message (e.g. in the lounge) when it is flagged as 'in moderation' by myself even I'm not confirmed email.
Now deleting a message is not that critical, but it let me assume other actions are also possible; not tried yet.

Yes it is correct, it was a message created by myself. But when it is 'in moderation' one has no chance to delete it usually, except one think a little bit and compare this and that.

If you wrote it, then you can delete it, unless we terminate your account for trolling or spamming.
If you realize after the fact that you shouldn't have posted something, we want you to be able to fix your mistake before the whole world sees it, or at least those with enough good taste to use CodeProject.

That is not true. If I post as a 'new acc' something with e.g. a link to youtube it comes automaticaly to moderation and I have no chance to delete the post as long it is not accepted by moderators. When mods accpet the post of course I can delete it (as long no comment exists, but also here it is possible to take a backdoor )
