The problem is that mindmatters.ai is a biased right-wing backed website. The article itself is biased, tainted by the author's right-wing intelligent design creationist leanings. I didn't sign up for news emails from codeproject.com to have such drivel appear in my inbox, so I unsubscribed. If in the future codeproject.com commits to vetting news sources for quality, scientific integrity, etc., I may re-subscribe.

Our editors grab news from everywhere without political considerations. However, we get it. Some sites we'll simply put on a list and move on.

Should you really be censoring a site because one person does not like it? I have read the article in question and see nothing contentious or biased in the content.

My reply was meant to indicate that: yes we hear your complaint, but we don't specifically target or block sites based on politics. There are, however, some sites we just avoid.
Basically we try to be careful and also considerate, and we'll continue to do so

Previously, I complained that a brand new article was not exposed properly on the page "Latest Articles", https://www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/Latest.aspx.
Now, the problem is just the opposite  .
The article not marked as updated appears on the page "Latest Articles".
I intentionally did not check "Mark as updated" on the submission of my old article update, just because this is a major new release I'm trying to publish. I cannot leave the article as is, to avoid confusing the readers, and the problem is serious enough: VSCode extension API broke backward compatibility again and rendered the old version of my product defunct, so I fixed the software and mentioned it in the article. At the same time, I planned to mark the article as updated only after thorough testing and a complete review of the documentation and the article content. The article is:

By the way, this is the software I use to generate my articles for CodeProject in one click and a single paste operation in the article submission wizard, already automatically formatted to Code Project standards (and even stricter).
In the past, submission of the article update without "Mark as updated" performed successful update without having the article enlisted in "Latest Articles".
Can it be fixed?
Any advice for now?

Really? Hmm... How do you know? This is not exactly what I observed. I think my article was added to the "Latest Articles" list after the first update in 2021, while earlier updates have been done in 2017. Then I've done several updates between February 27 to March 1, but in "Latest Articles" it still stays on February 27, even though later updates were somewhat more massive.
Any ideas?

Sorry, no other ideas. It was just my impression based on updating my own articles. Sometimes a revision would appear on the site's main page, even though I wasn't checking the "Mark this article as updated?" box.

I am not able to reproduce this issue.
Maybe we've 'fixed' it as part of another bug fix.

If you hover over a solution vote, you get a popup:
That little question mark is clickable, and presumably explains the numbers to the left.
Only all you get is "there is no spoon":

This appears to be cause by the delay of compiling the .aspx page on first use. Once this happens on each server, we have 6, then this works OK.

The "new message" flag was showing on the C# forum but no new message was visible on page 1. So I tried the asterisk-search to see what had been posted. The results were a list all pertaining to one thread as :

Note the dates on the messages. However, when I clicked the message at the top it took me to a thread from July 2009, and no new messages are showing there.

There appears to be an issue when someone requests to be forgotten, and all their content's modified dates are changed.
It also appears that the question list is showing Posted date and the Search results are showing Modified date.

In this answer[^], I don't know how to get a # at the front of #include. You'd think this would be left alone in code, but no. It gets displayed as <h1>. And # doesn't work because it wants an & at the front. 
And when I've clicked on Improve solution to edit it, and then click on FAQ at the upper right to see if the necessary arcana might actually be explained somewhere, I find that this link is broken.

Works fine for me. I just set the language on the <pre> blocks to make them pretty colours.
It sounds like your QA posts are being treated as Markdown, but I can't see an option to turn that off. Is it perhaps linked to the "Use Markdown formatting" option on forum messages?
