As someone else said, the fun language is the one I'm using at the moment.

In order of learning, my most fun languages are:

BASIC
6502 assembly
EDIT: Z80 assembly
Turbo Pascal, MS Pascal
Fortran
8088 assembly
C
6809 assembly
80286 assembly
C++
80386+ (flat mode) assembly
C#
Java

I include different generations of the 80x86 family because each of them has different challenges for writing optimized code.
