I'd honestly call the emergency number for that terminal and would eventually stay a bit near the terminal to prevent others from doing wrong things while it's in this mode. it doesn't matter much, what kind of terminal this is (a free browsing station or an ATM), but looking behind the scenes may be amazing and thrilling for some people, but in the end it can lead to serious damage of sensible data of people. and we have enough idiots and hackers out there that try to get away with your data (best case) or even your real identity (worst case).
